Consequence Box...
the awesome way to develop discipline in your home.

How to resolve Family Discipline Issues

Eliminate shouting, bad tempers, and door slamming from your children with this simple process that works Every Time.  It is called the "Consequence Box" and your family will grow to love it...

Here is how it works, as learned from Craig Caster, a legend on family matters :

1.  Gather your family around the dinner table.  Get them to understand the importance for a family to have rules and that they can help with making the rules if they choose to.
2.  Write down the rules everyone suggests.  Read them over and make sure there are no duplications.  Make them really clear ... in writing.
3.  Ask the kids if these are the rules they want and make sure they agree with them and know what each rule means!
4.  Ask the kids what kind of consequences their brothers and sisters should receive for BREAKing  the Rules...write down the consequences on little strips of paper. (gently direct them to small chores that are age appropriate)
5.  Put the slips of paper in a box with a lid on it.
6.  Whenever someone "Breaks a Rule" get the consequence box immediately.  The violator gets to pull one slip of paper from the consequence box...and do what it says immediately..with everybody around them giggling.

It takes only a few days for a wonderful calm to settle over the house.

If the violator refuses to perform the consequence please review the "Discipline Tab" on this page.
